Mitsubishi Electronics offers the ST211D and the ST241 land mobile satellite telephone systems and the ST221 fixed site satellite telephone system. These models deliver wide-area dispatch, point-to-point voice, real- time data, and fax communications throughout North America, Central America and the Caribbean. Mitsubishi's international experience with satellite and other wireless technologies assures superior, economical communication solutions for remote sites and centralized dispatch/management centers (fixed site), and for vehicles and fleets of all types (land mobile).

For wide-area dispatch, there is a Net Radio option, also called satellite dispatch, which links as many as 10,000 users in 15 configurable talk groups. The required push-to-talk microphone provides access to network communications between mobile users and dispatch centers The PTT handset features include:

- Auto-scan for active nets
- Point-to-point private mode calling
- Emergency call function

The standard equipment for these satellite telephones includes a transceiver unit, a handset, a handset cradle assembly (including junction box), AU-TU cables (length and type vary by model), wiring harness/power cable/ mounting hardware, 21" flat panel antenna with integrated RFU for the ST221 model, mid-gain dome antenna w/ integrated RFU for SST211D model, and a high gain dome antenna w/ integrated RFU for the ST241 model.
Optional accessories include a push-to-talk (PTT) microphone, an external hands-free speaker (optional for dispatch use), hands-free microphone, telular 2-wire interface for standard telephone usage, and a horizontal/vertical transceiver mounting kit.
