DESCRIPTION

The TT-3062A Capsat® Rod Telephone will turn your vehicle into a high quality communication centre. From the most remote areas it will meet your needs for interconnection to any destination in the world, whether for high quality telephone calls, fax prints, data transfer or e-mail messages. Designed in a compact and ruggedised all aluminium case, the TT-3062A will provide the reliable connection and extend your mobility from the urban "GSM" areas to true global coverage. Due to the very compact design of the main electronics unit and low power rod antenna, the Capsat® Rod Telephone is easy to install in a large variety of vehicles, ranging from longhaul trucks to off-roaders. The TT-3062A can be operated from the handset just like a regular GSM telephone, or from an auxiliary phone or fax machine connected to the 2-wire DTMF interface. For data transmission you can utilise the built-in Hayes compatible data modem. The low power rod antenna offers high reliability due to a ruggedised design with no moving parts. Together with the antenna front-end, it can be located up to 70 meters from the main electronics unit. The Capsat® Rod Telephone fully supports hands-free operation, to ensure safe driving while talking. The flexible design of the dashboard unit allows easy installation, as well as easy access to both fax and data connections. The main electronics unit has interfaces for extra ringer, external speaker, and radio mute as well as ignition controlled power on/off. A dust-proof cover protects the SIM cardholder and allows for easy removal of the SIM card preventing unauthorised use.
