The SAILOR Fleet55 is the perfect choice for your yacht or coastal ship. Featuring a world of benefits, the compact antenna can be mounted on almost any vessel in need of high speed communication.

The system acts as an integrated communication centre, providing high-speed 64kbps voice, fax, Internet services links to Phones, Fax machines and computer networks.

The system features an even smaller and lighter antenna than the SAILOR Fleet77, but basically offers the same services as its bigger relative.

The difference is that the SAILOR Fleet55 has global voice capabilities, but uses the Inmarsat spot beams for ISDN (Telephone, fax and data) and MPDS. The

Inmarsat spot beams cover the most widely used sea routes, which more than covers the needs of a medium sized vessel.

With the choice between MPDS (Mobile Packet Data Service) and ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) you are free to choose the most efficient and economic connection.

MPDS you are always online and only charged for the amount of transferred data. MPDS is a very economical and convenient solution for email, small to medium sized data transfers and constant access to Intranet services.

ISDN provides you with a 64 kbps dedicated line where you pay per minute. This application is suitable for larger data transfers such as video streaming etc.
