MediaRacer 150 MPEG-4
(Send Surveillance Video Efficiently Over Your IP Network)

The MediaRacer 150 sends industry best 4CIF video to your desktop
Many high end systems require the best possible video resolution - 4CIF.  Using a powerful dedicated compression chip, MAVIX is able to offer a fully integrated solution that sends MPEG4 video, audio and data in one stream for highly manageable IP delivery. Using an extremely efficient and resilient MPEG4 compression engine, our flagship MediaRacer 150 allows you to send surveillance data more efficiently over your IP network. By condensing captured video streams before transmitting, the MediaRacer 150 places less strain on network infrastructure than video servers that use other codecs.

Select either MPEG4 or MPEG2 and update from a single location
The MediaRacer 150 is capable of switching between MPEG4 and MPEG2 compression with the simple adjustment of firmware.  You select the desired compression and update the units via the network. You choose - conserve network resources with MPEG4, or opt for interoperability with standard MPEG2 - high quality video for networks where bandwidth is abundant.

Send Video, bi-directional voice and data from a single powerful box
The MediaRacer 150 places a lot of computing power in a box the size of a paperback book. Featuring not one, but two powerful internal processors, the MediaRacer 150 has all of the muscle you need to stream high-resolution video and two-way audio while running complex monitoring applications and capturing external data. By managing the amount of information that is sent back to the control center, the MediaRacer 150 conserves bandwidth resources without compromising coverage or quality.

Get started quickly with powerful MAVIX software
Best of all, the MediaRacer 150 is incredibly easy to use. By using the drag-and-drop MAVIEW Console software you can configure an entire network of MediaRacer 150 devices with no programming knowledge. However, for those wanting to create custom applications, the MediaRacer 150 is supported by the MAVIX SDK (software development kit) and API (application program interface).
