Globalstar Quick Locate Service provides the capability to reliably and affordably track assets, manage fleets and monitor alarms in regions where Quick Locate service coverage exists. This ready to go service allows 9 byte GPS location reports to be sent automatically, six times daily, from areas where alternative communications systems are unavailable or prohibitively expensive. Available in two different formats, these rugged units integrate a simplex modem, controller board, a GPS receiver and battery power to quickly and accurately locate the tracked assets. Optional DC line power is also available to continuously charge the unit. In addition, the Globalstar Quick Locate products have the ability to integrate alarm, door sensor and other event-driven information. A convenient no-cost web tool is included with Globalstar Quick Locate Service to easily access position coordinates and monitored information.

In addition to the actual simplex transmitter, Globalstar is also providing the Quick Locate Service website. This simple and intuitive website allows customers who have Internet access to view current and historical locations of their assets, without the need for any cumbersome mapping software.
