Skyterra/MSAT Network Coverage

As shown by the shaded area in the map at the left, SkyTerra provides wide-area wireless communications on land, sea or in the air, in North America, Central America, northern South America (Venezuela and Colombia), and the Caribbean and up to 250 miles offshore.

The MSAT satellites operate in a similar manner to a cellular microwave repeater, but have a much greater range. Using the MSAT spot beam technology, SkyTerra offers superior coverage and capacity.
