About MSAT
A network of one Earth Station in Reston , Virginia, and one satellite. MSAT 2 has 6 high-powered Spot Beams that provide Domestic North American coverage in the continental United States, Hawaii, West Indies/Caribbean, Mexico, and inter-coastal USA. Partial coverage is also provided in Alaska, Central America, the northern tip of South America. The satellite is in geo-synchronous orbit (GEO) above the equator at 110 degrees West, which means it is always in the same place in the sky.
