KlasTA for the KIV-7, STE and OMNIxi
KlasTA combines the functionality of an ISDN Terminal Adapter and an ISDN line splitter into a single box. It connects a KIV-7 to one or two M4s at 64K or 128K. It connects a STE to two M4s at 128K. KlasTA is the only connectivity product in the market which supports 64K and 128K connections for both the KIV-7 and the STE. KlasTA is ideal for encryption users who want the flexibility of using either a KIV-7 or a STE in 64K or 128K satellite configurations.
KlasTA for the ISDN BRENT and BRENT 2
KlasTA bonds two 64K Inmarsat M4 channels giving the user accesss to a 128K satellite channel. This 128K line can connect to any ISDN BRENT or BRENT2 device. BRENT users can now benefit from satcom mobility with terrestrial ISDN line speeds. This speed ensures that data applications achieve their premium performance over satellite.
KlasTA-256K for the KIV-7
KlasTA-256K is the latest addition to the Klas-TA family. KlasTA-256K is designed to bond 2 x 128K M4* satellite terminals and support 256K connections for the KIV-7. KlasTA-256K is the ideal addition for flyaway router configurations. It allows the user the option to expand their mobile network by making extra bandwidth available. KlasTA-256K is designed to support 256K Inmarsat connections via the KIV-7.
*128K M4s include: Glocom G128, MTI Nomad, EMS Viper / Viper II.
KlasTA-Rackmount for the KIV-7
KlasTA-Rackmount is a rackmount version of our popular ISDN terminal adapter. This gateway solution is designed specifically for users who have both ISDN and satellite callers in the field and who want a single access point. KlasTA-Rackmount comes in a 3U package that can be mounted in a standard 19” rack. It houses up to 12 KlasTA units and each unit can answer a 64K/128K call from satellite with a KIV-7 attached. Each unit can be configured for 64K Clear Channel and 128K Bonding Modes 2.
