KlasHopper HSD Page
KlasHopper has been designed to make PC data transfer via the KIV7, STE, OMNIxi, BRENT or Inmarsat B simple to configure and use. The KlasHopper is a synchronous PC card that is simple to install on any Windows laptop PC. The KlasHopper connects seamlessly to synchronous RS232 / RS449 / RS530 interfaces.
KlasHopper for the Kiv-7
KlasHopper makes it easy to browse the Internet, transfer files, send and receive emails and perform real-time videoconferencing using a PC connected to a KIV-7. KlasHopper is a PC card that easily installs in a laptop or desktop PC. KlasHopper supports all popular Windows operating systems including Windows 95/98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
KlasHopper for the STE

KlasHopper is a PC card that easily installs in a laptop or desktop PC. KlasHopper supports all popular Windows operating systems including Windows 95/98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
KlasHopper for the BRENT
KlasHopper makes it easy to browse the Internet, transfer files, send and receive emails and perform real-time videoconferencing using a PC connected to a BRENT. KlasHopper is a PC card that easily installs in a laptop or desktop PC. KlasHopper supports all popular Windows operating systems including Windows 95/98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
KlasHopper for the Inmarsat B
High Speed Data allows an Inmarsat B user send data at a rate of 64K. This makes it easy to browse the Internet, transfer files, send and receive emails and perform real-time videoconferencing using a PC connected to an Inmarsat B. Compared to the Inmarsat B's MSD function of 9.6Kbps this is a dramatically faster data connection. Faster connections will reduce the airtime used for sending email and large files. Reduced airtime is the real cost saving benefit of upgrading to High Speed Data. High Speed Data is also an attractive alternative to upgrading a vessel to the Fleet F77 service.
